Next Gen Gaming Consoles Unveiled with India Specific Features, Real Time Cloud Play
Sony, Microsoft, and homegrown firm JetPlay have all launched upgraded consoles featuring 8K resolution, haptic feedback, and AI powered motion tracking. JetPlay’s “AstraBox” supports regional languages, Indian indie games, and mobile cloud syncing. Sony PS6 units include India only subscription pricing and regional content libraries. Cloud gaming is now being bundled with 5G plans by Jio and Airtel, making high end gaming accessible even in Tier 2 cities. Analysts estimate that India’s gaming market, currently worth ₹17,000 crore, will double by 2028, driven by vernacular content and 5G accessibility.
